Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Bathing and Showering: Assistance with getting clean and maintaining hygiene.
• Dressing and Grooming: Help with putting on clothes, getting dressed, and personal grooming tasks like brushing hair and teeth.
• Toileting: Assistance with using the restroom and maintaining continence.
• Transferring: Support with moving from one place to another, such as getting in and out of bed or a chair.
• Eating and Feeding: Assistance with preparing and eating meals.

Other Personal Care Activities

• Medication Management: Assistance with taking prescribed medications, but not determining dosages.
• Meal Preparation: Assistance with planning, preparing, and eating meals.
